Janelle Carlson developed
her passion for softball at the age of 8. She remembers the
day exactly. Her dad looked down, handed her his glove and tossed
her the ball at her first pitching lesson with her coach, Lance.
It was that day that had changed her life forever. She knew
she wanted…. and that was to be a pitcher! With hard work,
determination, sacrifice and love of the game, she has become
who she is today.
Carlson has competed at local, regional and national levels
for 19 years. She graduated from Bishop Stang High School in
North Dartmouth, MA where she played both field hockey and softball.
She continued onto Johnson & Wales University where she
obtained a Bachelors Degree in Sports Entertainment and Event
Management as well as a Master’s Degree in Event/Organizational
Leadership. Currently, Carlson is the owner of East Coast Softball
Pitching. She also works very closely with Parkway Girls Softball
League. She loves coaching and would go above and beyond to
help a pitcher succeed in being the best player they can be!
